Crude Oil Dehydration
Crude oil dehydration and desalting processes are all about removal of small immiscible water droplets from the crude oil. Traditional technologies for crude oil dewatering usually use chemicals, heat, electrostatic fields and coalescent surfaces to break oil-water emulsions.
Our Crude Oil Dehydration System uses Mechanical Emulsion Breakers technology. This technology allows us to dewater crude oil on a continuous process if needed in ranges of < .05 % of water without the use of chemicals or pre-treatment. The fully automated Dewatering plants can receive patches of water or crude oil of 100% without interrupting the separation process.
